Kids Time
PARKADE KIDS TIMEWelcome to Kids Time! We have activities every Sunday for our children birth through 5th grade.
On Sunday we have Sunday School and Children's Church at 9:15 and 10:30. In Sunday school we use age appropriate lessons to study the Bible. The children learn memory verses and how to use their bible. Our Sunday school goes through the fifth grade.
We also have a Nursery for young children newborn to 2 years of age on Sunday morning durning Sunday school and Church and on Sunday evenings when there are Small Groups or some other Church activities.
During the morning Worship we have Children Church, for 3 year olds through 3rd grade where the emphasis is on learning to worship. The children are taught praise and worship songs, Bible stories, how to pray, and an offering is taken. Learning to worship as a child is the first step toward worshipping as an adult. Our children church goes through the third grade.
On Wednesday evenings we have childcare for those who are participating in the Wednesday night activities at Parkade. We also have a children's ASL signing class on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 pm. Adults also are invited. If you have a Deaf child whom you would like to learn ASL signing come and learn with them. Learning to communicate with your Deaf child is the best gift you could ever give them. Only 10% of Deaf families can fluently carry on a conversation with their child or sibling.
