Our Financial Peace University classes beginning August 22 and go through Novemeber 14, 2010 on Sundays at 5:00 pm. A preview class will be held August 8 at 5:00 pm. See a commercial.

Cost for materials will be $95 per member kit. We do have a limited number of needs based partial scholarships available. Please let us know if you would like to be considered for one of these scholarships by calling the church at 573-443-4585 and talking to Gary.

If you are unfamiliar with how our FPU classes operate, here is a little explanation. Typically, we will meet together as a group to watch a video of Dave Ramsey teaching the topic of the week. These videos are from 30 minutes to an hour. After the video, we will break out into smaller groups of about 20 members for discussions led by a group leader. In all, the video and the discussion will take less than 2 hours. From past experience, this time will go by very fast.

Between our weekend classes, participants will need to read a couple chapters in the "Financial Peace Revisited" book and work on the FPU workbook (both are included in the member kit). There will also be homework like creating and maintaining a budget. All this will help reinforce your effort to get to a “Debt Free” lifestyle.

At the preview class August 8 you can get the experience of what happens in these classes and also have the opportunity to meet the class coordinator and facilitators. You will be able order your class materials at this preview class. We highly recommend everyone attend this class.
